"Look Mah! I've gone Hollywood!"
Okay... Give me a second *sigh*. Okay, now that this thing is done... whew! Alright. I started this lil side project after finishing my vector of the Ariel Atom. I did something unsual for my art--I included myself in the image. That little piece alone (which is also here in my gallery I added it this morning) took about two days to do. When I was finished looking at it, as soon as I saw it completed I realized I absolutely HAD to do a movie poster with it, because... well, let's face it, I haven't looked THIS cool in years! I mean! Look at me! I'm on a fake-movie poster!! 10 layers later, this is the end result! The first thing I did was play with blending options and some cool blue paint and photo filters to accent the highlights on the Ariel Atom blue. I decided quickly to keep this piece monochromatic + faint blue just for the sake of the cool look those cool colors can give. After this I set the title type, which is HUGE Impact font. I used Impact solely because I had the idea of using a tachometer image grabbed from This film is Rated R, so don't blame me if your kids leave the theatre with a new extension of four-letter-word vernacular. Also please note that this isn't an actual movie, for the love of God, why would anyone do a movie on me? The tagline for this story is pretty true as well. I am an art teacher, I am a 'law-abiding' citizen, and I do live a quiet life. The 480 miles is how far away my girlfriend lives, so I guess this movie is all about me driving 280 miles in three hours (or less) in the Ariel Atom 500. Comments
3 hours and 280 miles is not that tough, even in my car, and I drive a '95 buick century. But I'm guessing there's a lot more to the plot than just him driving as fast as he can, right?
OH and BTW in this picture you look so much like a movie star that I thought it really was a movie poster. It could make a good movie. -- advertisement for my page: [link] See you in the dark skies. Yeah it's not bad, I've been there before, but just drives me crazy being that far away, hence the desire to steal an Atom 500 and pay her a visit (before and IF the cops catch me).
And thanks for the compliments, if I look like a movie star, well cool I guess, but if it really looks like a movie poster than that's radical. And if my girlfriend thinks I'm hawt in the pic then even better. lol. -- "Nothing is more beautiful than a person who sees themself in the mirror every morning and smiles." -EJK- |
