2011 Subaru WRX STI Wallpaper

Okay... Well, whew.

I found yesterday some new images of the brand new 2011 Impreza WRX STI and let me start out by saying I think this is a beautiful car... So beautiful in fact that I've put on hold my purchase of a 2010 STI wagon in lieu of this vehicle instead. I've always been partial to the sedan over the wagon, and these images and production stills that I found pulled the trigger on my possibly deciding to wait to get one--especially since the vehicle might be in stores as early as this summer!

This piece is done in the style of many of my older car wallpapers except for the size and dimensional difference. Otherwise the same techniques were used here for what I feel is a better, more sinister looking wallpaper than my other two STI walls. I definitely like the look of not just the new car, but this wallpaper over the other two I've got.

I did this quickly between sessions of lesson plan writing. Enjoy, critique, and let me know what you think about the car. And for those of you who have an insider in the sales markets, let me know when you've heard the forecast for these vehicles storming US shores.
