Wow, August was my last entry... Sorry yall. I promise I'm alive, everything is more or less going just fine. I'm still teaching in Houston and having the absolute time of my life doing it every day, even if the kids are difficult--impossible even. I've been butting heads with my AP about walkthroughs and the things that she has seen prior to her three month departure for maternity leave. She had told me that if I couldn't improve before she returned that I would not be here next year. She even went so far as to ask me if I loved my job, if I liked what I was doing every day, and if there was anything else I should be doing besides teachin

Well my birthday was back on Sunday. Had a good time, big gathering at the house with the usual suspects. I start teaching on Monday! Scary! I've been at the school all week the last two weeks doing ProDev training and the like. I've got my class keys, and now just setting everything up and writing a syllabus. Fun stuff. Other than that, life's good. I bought a Flip Ultra HD camcorder as a bday present to myself. It takes amazing video for something so small. Been playing around with that, and after my first paycheck or two I'm going to start phone shopping for a smartphone. I'm considering the 3G iPhone, but not sure. That's all for now f

Well we got Nathan pretty much completely moved in, and we had a BIG dinner last night with most of the Kell Hounds; lots of fun. We discussed the Firefly/Serenity scenario we're playing in at the end of September. We're going to be either on the side of the Reavers or the side of the Browncoats, we're not sure where yet. Jenna (my gf) and I are going to DC labor day weekend so she can visit her friend. Which means I get to spend a day at the Air and Space Smithsonian museum.
